SALES & LEASING CONSULTANT

Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the position is responsible for selling/leasing new and previously-owned vehicles on standards of gross profit, volume and the satisfaction of Dealership customers.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers to the Dealership, and build a relationship of trust and demonstrate serious commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Help the customers select vehicles, by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers, in order to identify their needs
  • Discuss with potential customers the vehicle's product performance, functioning and advantages
  • Describe any optional equipment the customer might purchase
  • Offer to road test a vehicle for any potential customer; follow Dealership procedures to obtain the appropriate identity documents from the customer before the road test
  • Explain, in a professional manner, the terms and conditions governing long-term leases, as compared to traditional purchase arrangements, based on customer needs
  • Know and understand the concepts of equity and residual value and be able to explain the principles of depreciation to the customer
     
    Skills:
  • Strong selling abilities
  • Strong understanding of customer and retail handling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Good PC knowledge

  • PART-TIME WASH ATTENDANT

    Under the supervision of the Service Manager, this position is responsible for cleaning service customer vehicles.
     
    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Wash the exterior of the vehicle, wash the windows inside and outside and wipe the hold-open mechanisms
  • Apply wax to the bodywork and wipe or buffs the surface with non-abrasive products, if applicable
  • Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to ordinary cleaning procedures, using judgment and following the manufacturer's recommendations
  • Inspect vehicle to detect any visible defects, such as bumps, scratches and torn upholstery
  • Apply dressing to the tires and the walls of the tires

  • FINANCIAL SERVICES (F&I) MANAGER

    Under the supervision of the General Sales Manager, the position is responsible for vehicle financing; selling chemicals, warranties, insurances, and accessories to customers and obtaining predetermined sales quota within budgetary guidelines.
     
    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all sales deals are approved financially
  • Sell after-sales products; i.e. extended warranty, insurance, protection packages, etc.
  • Schedule, monitor and control all daily deliveries with sales staff and customers
  • Prepare and document any/all documentation for final delivery, i.e. finance contracts, extended warranted contracts, insurance forms, etc.
  • Responsible for all necessary and/or related funding; license fees, down payment, finance funding, leasing funding, etc.
  • Responsible for completion of all final delivery paperwork

  • PART-TIME SHUTTLE DRIVER

    Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the position improves the customers' impression of the Service Department by driving them home, to their office, or to a determined destination, or picking them up while their vehicles are being serviced; ensures excellent relations between customers and the Dealership.
     
    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive customers to destinations within the Dealership's boundaries, as per their request
  • Extend courtesy and professionalism to all customers at all times
  • Open and close doors for customers (assist customers in getting in and out of vehicle)
  • Maintain a regular shuttle service
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of vehicle on a daily basis
  • Inspect the vehicle daily for damage
  • Occasional pick-up and drop-off of tools/parts
     
    Skills:
  • Demonstrated good judgment
  • Ability to drive safely within the regulations of the MTO Act
  • Aptitude for customer relations
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
     
    Required:
  • Three (3) years driving experience
  • Dealership experience preferred

  • EXPRESS SERVICE ADVISOR

    Under the supervision of the Express Service Supervisor, the position is responsible for preparing Express Service repair orders; determine the total Express Service needs and deploy the work process quickly and efficiently. Acknowledge every customer quickly with courtesy and offers assistance in every case. Ensure excellent relations between customers and Dealership.
     
    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers upon arrival to Dealership in a courteous and polite manner
  • Initiate repair orders
  • Answer all telephone calls from customers
  • Explain the nature of the work performed and all repair costs to the customer
  • Advise customers on how to look after their vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance, based on the manufacturer's maintenance schedule
  • Determine the time the vehicle will be ready and track the progress accordingly
  • Monitor the work flow and notify the customer of the repair progress throughout all stages of the repair
  • Contact the customer when the vehicle is ready or if there will be a delay
     
    Skills:
  • Aptitude for customer relations and customer handling skills
  • Strong hospitality skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Good practice in telephone communication skills
  • Ability to sell required maintenance or repairs using suggestive selling
  • Product knowledge - technical aptitude
